October 15, 1900 - Bethel College Founded
Charles Fox Parham founded Bethel College in a bankrupt Topeka mansion on October 15, 1900. The American Pentecostal Movement burgeoned at Bethel College in Topeka, Kansas, on New Years Day, 1901, when Agnes Ozman spoke in tongues. Ozman asked Parham to lay hands on her and ask the Holy Spirit to speak through her.
