July 18, 1817 - Jane Austen Dies

CHT

Jane Austen may very well be one of the most prolific British authors to have ever written. Austen was raised by a Church of England minister, and this is evident in her writing. Her classics like Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility are full of characters who exude Christians ideals through their actions and morals. Austen died of Addison’s disease on July 18, 1817.
