August 26, 1901 - American Standard Version Published

The first non-denominational Bible printed since the Authorized King James Version in 1611 was the English Revised Version (1881). On August 27, 1901, an American version of the English Revised Version was published, dubbed the American Standard Version. It was published by Thomas Nelson Publishers.
